PRACTICE AREAS
Litigation
While negotiation and settlement can sometimes bring about the most cost-effective resolution to a contested case, sometimes aggressive litigation is the only alternative. We are well-prepared for either contingency. We provide representation before Federal courts, in administrative proceedings before federal agencies and before state public utilities commissions. The Firm's attorneys also have experience in arbitration and mediation proceedings. As appropriate, we serve as co-counsel in state court and administrative matters where our specialized expertise is required. Litigation experience includes representing a government entity in opposing injunctive relief before the U.S. Court of Appeals, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in Federal District Court, and representing long distance resellers in enforcement proceedings before the FCC. The Firm's principal attorney also regularly represented various clients, including a large computer equipment manufacturer, before the U.S. District Court in connection with the AT&T Consent Decree before it was terminated in 1996.
